You can always to all, but start with one to really practice and get inspired by, before branching into every direction.

Curate a collection of images that highlight your artistic flair and skill. This takes practice, make sure to use family and friends as models, reach out to other photographers for styled shoots, and mentorships!


-Online Presence: Build a user-friendly website to showcase your portfolio and engage with the world through social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest. Based on your budget, you can hire someone to do this or create yourself. squarespace is a wonderful place to start and its extremely user friendly.


3. Network and Build Relationships

- Attend Events: Immerse yourself in local events, photography workshops, and art shows to forge connections with fellow photographers and potential clients.

- Join Online Communities: Engage with photography forums and social media groups to connect with a vibrant network of creatives.


4. Offer Promotions or Packages

- Introductory Offers: Launch your journey with enticing discounts for your first clients or unique package deals. Be HONEST with your skill level and charge based on experience.

- Collaborate with Other Professionals: Partnership with wedding planners, event coordinators, or local businesses can expand your reach and create exciting opportunities. Asking to mentor or learn under is a great way, and many photographers are open to this.

- Regular Posting: Consistently showcase your work to keep your audience engaged and inspired. Even day to day coffee runs, show you are human too, and engage!
